1B – Turkish Republic of North Cyprus
______________________________________________________________________

In the October 25th issue of The Daily DX it was reported XW0LP, Simon,
was planning to depart Laos around the end of November due to “More
rules” being “imposed on” his “XW licence renewal” along “with the
crash in the local economy due to no foreign tourists.” We now know
his “controversial destination” will be to the Turkish Republic of
North Cyprus. He will be QRV as 1B/XW0LP. For the record this one does
not meet DXCC criteria and does not count for anything for DXCC
purposes. https://www.qrz.com/db/1B/XW0LP
